FESTIMADRID ?05 Mass Evangelism

     38,000 people gathered at the Plaza de Toro, Madrid last June 24-25?05 for two nights of festival with known Latin and   Spanish Singers.  Thousands came to know the Lord as Luis Palau preached the Gospel.  ART Company team had the privilege to help with the counselling.

MIRACLES OF ANOINTING !!!

     Last July and August ?05 our Summer Campaign ? ?LA MOVIDA FESTIVAL?  opened doors of opportunities for  churches & ART Company team to see God?s hand move with anointing.  About 50 participants coming from USA, Switzerland & Spain gathered for a week in Capdepera and  another week in Palma de Mallorca. 

      We had an hour of discipleship sessions every day consisted of   Evangelism training, Worship Time, Small group & individual ministries &  prayer intercession.  The presence of the Lord was there speaking words of promises, affirmation and  consolation. Love & unity was evidently manifested as we apply life style evangelism doing our activities inviting unsaved friends and  church contacts to join and be part of us.

      Basically our daily schedules began with the leaders  prayer time, then on to our discipleship sessions.  There were morning and afternoon musical production rehearsals &  at night, the theatre play.  Two mornings off were dedicated to sight seeing & a day of relax at the beach.

      In Capdepera, we were all designated to stay with the church member?s homes.  A training for everybody to be light and salt  in whatever circumstance.  We were so blessed with the church hospitality.

     Church people despite of their busy schedules joined to participate as theatre casts for the play we did, the ?Story of Job modern version?.  Three days of preparation with long lines of dialogue to memorize was the initial challenge.  Rey after the first  rehearsal was hesitant to continue with the project.  It was our first new play, written & choreographed by the group.  The stage props had to be built and  he needed the commitment of the entire group to see it happen.  Ana, our choreographer approached Rey with a word from the Lord in Isaiah 41:13-20.  The assurance of God?s help to show His power, ?that His hand has done it.?   With this word, the play was set up, props were built and participants gave their whole hearted commitment.  Eventually, the play was performed and people were touched with the anointing of the message both in Capdepera and Palma de Mallorca ..

      The message of Job?s life had been so real as the churches in Mallorca are currently going through trials.  Doors of the churches were closed, the one in Capdepera is now gathering illegally in an abandoned hotel. With the case of Palma?s church, there is an ongoing court hearing waiting for the final decision, as the prostitution business along the area is complaining of the church presence.  Please let  us keep  praying for them.

MANACOR ASKED FOR  ?LA MOVIDA FESTIVAL 2006?

       Pastor Ricardo &  his wife requested Rey to include Manacor,( an elite tourist sight in Mallorca) to hold  a week campaign in their place.  As they have seen the impact  of the campaign both for the local church members & the testimony it brings to the community, they too would like to  open their door for ART Company to minister  next year.  To God be the glory !!!

1. Television taping of the play , ?La vida de Job, version moderna? ? we would like to make copies available for churches as we perform in different places here in Spain.
2. ART Company team in Palma de Mallorca is being directed by Elizet, as we left the group inspired to keep on using their talents to serve God, doors were opened for invitations and ministries, may God?s guidance and wisdom be upon her as she committed to shoulder this responsibility.
3. The international participation of our contacts broaden  our vision to extend our local campaigns to more locations both in Spain & abroad.  Praise God for the opening in Holland, thru the Continental Arts ? Martha, one of our leaders represented ART Company.  Sonja?s team (our faithful collaborator every summer from the Covenant Church of Texas, USA) included Edinburgh?s art festival invitation as part of their itinerary.  Lord willing, we would like to expose more Spanish leaders in the future.
4.  We are receiving a lot  of invitations in Madrid,  commitment of every volunteer is the key for us to be able to cope up with this tremendous privileges.  Praise God for the committed ones that the Lord has been bringing into the team.
5. Please pray for wisdom & favour for Rey as he associates with the church leaders and pastors to carry on the tasks of evangelism through arts.  For Vivien & Daniel as we serve the Lord together as a family here in Spain.
